Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and courteous Service Ambassador to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that every interaction is memorable and enjoyable.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Communication: Respond to all incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, transferring calls to the appropriate department as needed.
  2. Request Management: Take full accountability for all internal and external guest requests, transmitting information to the responsible department in a timely manner.
  3. Logistics and Coordination: Log all requests and ensure timely follow-up to guarantee a seamless service experience for guests.
  4. Wake-Up Calls: Ensure accurate logging and execution of wake-up calls.
  5. Phone Lists: Maintain and update telephone extension lists regularly.
  6. Crisis Management: Possess a thorough understanding of emergency procedures and coordinate communication until final evacuation.
  7. Health and Safety: Adhere to and promote Company Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  8. Emergency Response: Handle emergency line and elevator alarms, working closely with Engineering to schedule regular maintenance checks.
  9. Message Distribution: Receive and distribute voice messages and written messages for guests and internal departments.
  10. System Knowledge: Possess a comprehensive understanding of systems required to deliver exceptional guest service (training provided).
  11. Facilities and Services: Maintain knowledge of all facilities, services, and promotions to respond confidently and effectively to inquiries.
  12. Teamwork: Proactively collaborate with other teams as part of a guest-centric community, caring for guests and colleagues alike.
  13. Ambassadors: Serve as ambassadors, leaving lasting impressions for our guests.
  14. Personalized Experience: Utilize natural talents to connect with guests and create memorable experiences.
  15. Continuous Improvement: Commit to evolving our service based on regular feedback, ensuring consistent delivery of personalized guest experiences.

Requirements:

  1. Language Skills: Excellent command of English and confidence in communication skills.
  2. Organization and Flexibility: Highly organized, career-oriented, and result-driven, with the ability to be flexible with hours, days off, assignment, and additional duties.
  3. Pressure Handling: Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  4. Team Player: Strong team player, professional, and motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  5. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Opera PMS, Fairmont Service Systems, MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel an asset.
  6. Education: At least a High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
  7. Hotel Management: Diploma in Hotel management an asset.
  8. Languages: Second or third language an asset.
