Job Summary

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for maintaining payroll systems and processing paychecks according to schedule and in the correct amount. This includes consolidating timesheet information, entering data into payroll databases, calculating paycheck amounts, resolving pay-related queries, and distributing funds to employee accounts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Gathering accurate information on hours worked for each employee, ensuring timely submission of timesheets.
  • CALCULATING PAYCHECK AMOUNTS incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system or ERP.
  • Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions manually and in ERP, adhering to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and updating hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc., to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Preparing and executing pay orders through an electronic system or distributing pay checks, ensuring secure and efficient payment processing.
  • Addressing issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors, escalating complex matters to Head of Human Resource.
  • Administering statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paper, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action.
  • Obtaining approval from upper management for payments when necessary, upholding financial governance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively articulate complex payroll concepts.
  • Superior mathematical and calculation skills, with attention to detail and precision.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Knowledge of different types of payroll software, with proficiency in MS Office and good understanding of payroll and accounting principles.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills, with ability to identify trends and optimize processes.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll practices, with commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • High numerical aptitude and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Trustworthy with high level of confidentiality, handling sensitive employee data with discretion.
  • Must be a Saudi National or Arabic Speaker, with fluency in English language.
