Cyber Security Specialist

About the Role:
The Cyber Security Specialist will be a key member of the MBR Partners team, working closely with the Cyber Security team to deliver secure systems and implement proportionate controls. This role will involve providing day-to-day operational support and project-based work, leading to the development and deployment of new information/cyber security services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert, supporting vendors in implementing Identity and Privileged Access Management across the organization.
- Manage End Point, Email Security, and Web-Application Firewalls to ensure robust security measures are in place.
- Oversee Cyber Security Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge in Security Domains, including Network Security, Endpoint Security, EDR, Data Security, SIEM, DLP, SOAR, Deception, Threat Hunting, and Cloud Security.
- Hands-on experience with End Point, Email Security, and Web-Application Firewall solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding of Cyber Security Frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Data Privacy, and IT Act.
- Ability to review and coordinate changes to information security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Proven experience in Identity and Privileged Access Management, with a strong understanding of industry-standard methodologies and related solutions.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with market trends, new technologies, and security/Identity and Access Management services.
- Experience with ensuring critical applications are well-integrated with IAM controls and governance, including access review and approval workflows.
