We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accounting Officer Candidate to join our team at Azeus Systems Limited. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports for informational and operational use. You will also be responsible for preparing budget forecasts, publishing financial statements in a timely manner, and handling monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

In this role, you will also be responsible for computing taxes and preparing tax returns, ensuring timely bank payments, and complying with financial policies and regulations. Additionally, you will reconcile accounts, records, reports, and journals, and monitor accounts receivables and coordinate with Sales Executives and clients in cases of overdue accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in General Accounting
  • Experience in End-to-End bookkeeping and year-end finalization work
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of XERO accounting software is an asset
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
