Business Development and Procurement Specialist

About the Role:
The Business Development and Procurement Specialist will play a key role in supporting local and global Partners' efforts to drive revenue growth through the management, distribution, completion, and submission of all incoming RFPs and tenders in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and RFP Management: Monitor, manage, and maintain procurement and RFP platforms to ensure seamless submission of proposals.
- Client and Partner Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and Partners to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Opportunity Qualification and Assignment: Qualify incoming opportunities and direct them to the Partners with the right expertise, ensuring accurate and timely assignment of business development tasks.
- Proposal Preparation and Submission: Assist Partners in preparing proposals in a manner appropriate to the target client, ensuring accuracy and completeness of CRM data.
- Pipeline Management and CRM Data Accuracy: Manage the pipeline of live opportunities in CRM, ensuring information is current and accurate, and collaborating with other data stakeholders to ensure data integrity.
- Business Development and Sales Outcomes: Track, analyze, and report metrics on sales and business development outcomes, extracting insight and suggesting action where appropriate.
Candidate Requirements:
- Commercial and Client Mindset: Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commercial/client mindset.
- Knowledge of Local Business Environment: Knowledge of the local business environment and cultural nuances, including familiarity with segments, organizational structures, value drivers, and the strategic issues organizations face.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and structured manner.
- CRM and RFP Experience: Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and experience with RFP portals in the region, preferably Etimad.
- Education and Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, but not essential.
