Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager will act as the key client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met and projects are delivered to time and cost targets.

This role requires an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Governance and Communication: Develop and manage governance, communication, and management control systems to ensure proper conduct and assured delivery of client services and works.
  2. Organisation Alignment: Review organisation structures and recommend alignment measures to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement safety and performance enhancement measures.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor compliance with management systems, identify risks, and assign mitigations to ensure project success.
  5. Progress Meetings and Reporting: Initiate and conduct regular technical and progress meetings, produce reports on project progress, and present updates to stakeholders.
  6. Client Interface: Manage client stage gateway reviews, attainment of conditions precedent, and overall client satisfaction.
  7. Design Delivery and Permitting: Manage design stage deliverables, concurrent fast-track works package procurements, and associated permitting requirements.
  8. Site Visits and Reporting: Attend sites regularly to review health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE), logistics, and progress against programmes.
  9. Contract Administration: Manage contracts, protecting client interests, issuing invoices, and receiving receipts in accordance with agreements.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  1. Degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent technical qualification.
  2. Real Estate sector experience.
  3. Minimum 10-15 years of project management experience.
  4. Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Middle East.

Desirable:

  1. Recognised project management qualification.
  2. Membership or chartership of a recognised professional industry body, such as RICS/CIOB.
