The purpose of this role is to ensure the school site safety and health plan is prepared and implemented. You will provide local guidance and support to all stakeholders to ensure that health and safety practices are in accordance with both domestic and international standards.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily health and safety inspections on the site to ensure it is hazard-free, preparing weekly reports, and conducting risk assessments.
- Checking firefighting and alarm systems, following up with contractors, and conducting equipment inspections to ensure they are correctly installed and operational.
- Applying precautionary measures according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health for any infectious disease.
- Making emergency plans, training staff accordingly, and carrying out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations.
- Conducting safety awareness work for students and staff inside schools.
- Investigating accidents that have occurred within incident areas and taking immediate and further actions to avoid them in the future.
- Conducting toolbox meetings and orientation for new employees and staff training.
