Boston Scientific is seeking a Principal Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end sales processes for specific customer segments.
You will identify commercial opportunities in the region, manage account planning across the customer base, and drive the execution of regional and local sales strategies. Your primary goal will be to drive business growth, broadening Boston Scientific's market share, securing product positioning, and ensuring market penetration.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of annual strategic plans by providing detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope.
- Understand account unmet needs and expectations, developing detailed account plans to support Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) in Top Tier 1 accounts.
- Design and execute sales strategies and activities for accounts in scope, according to account plans and national and regional targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with economic stakeholders and clinical Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), promoting Health Economics arguments and engaging decision-makers.
- Support clinical colleagues in identifying and managing sales opportunities deriving from clinical support, performing clinical selling based on clinical support information.
- Plan and prepare tenders/proposals based on account situations and understanding, participating in negotiations as needed.
