Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Expert to join our team at BaseTeam Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance strategies that ensure compliance with Saudi Arabia's data regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in NDMO frameworks, PDPL compliance, and Informatica tools. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data handling aligns with legal and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement NDMO-compliant data management frameworks and policies.
  2. Ensure PDPL compliance for personal data processing, storage, and security.
  3. Develop and enforce data classification, retention, and protection policies.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data handling aligns with legal and organizational requirements.
  5. Utilize Informatica (PowerCenter, Data Quality, MDM, IDMC, Axon…) for data integration, cleansing, governance, and management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Compliance roles.
  3. Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica MDM, PowerCenter, IDMC or related tools.
  4. Strong knowledge of NDMO policies, PDPL, and other Saudi data regulations.
  5. Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data security best practices.
