Job Title: Consultant Ophthalmology - Corneal Transplant Surgeon

Job Summary:

At Antal International Network - IME, we are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmology - Corneal Transplant Surgeon to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our ophthalmology department, you will provide expert guidance on eye care services and collaborate with medical professionals to optimize patient care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality ophthalmology care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative services as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff, and residents.
  • Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows in ophthalmology.
  • Participate in research activities.
  • Take part in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures as privileged.
  • Follow hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in Transplant Surgery.
  • Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.
  • Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in Transplant Surgery.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
