We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced construction proposal coordinator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing and managing tender submissions, conducting cost estimations, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the successful acquisition of construction projects within the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the full tendering process from receiving RFPs to submitting completed tenders, ensuring all project requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  2. Analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, and contract terms to guarantee a thorough understanding of project needs.
  3. Prepare and compile all necessary documentation for tender submissions, confirming compliance with client expectations and company standards.
  4. Estimate project costs accurately during the tendering phase, taking into account all aspects of construction, labor, and materials.
  5. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information and ensure accuracy in cost estimation and proposal preparation.
  6. Collaborate with internal departments to define project scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  7. Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor bids to recommend the best options based on cost, quality, and delivery time.
  8. Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable conditions for the company.
  9. Prepare technical and financial proposals, ensuring they align with client expectations and company capabilities.
  10. Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of tender submissions, suppliers, and subcontractor information.
  11. Monitor and report on the status of tender submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met and project updates are communicated effectively to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the tendering and proposals process within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of the tendering process, including cost estimation and technical proposal preparation.
  • Familiarity with Saudi construction standards, regulations, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, cost estimation software, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
