Job Description

Saudi Patient Safety Center is seeking a highly skilled Strategy Section Head to lead our center's strategic planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of our center's strategic plan in alignment with national health priorities.
  • Manage Strategic Management Office: Ensure robust execution and governance frameworks for our Strategic Management Office (SMO).
  • Patient Safety Initiatives: Drive the implementation and sustainability of national-level patient safety initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement: Oversee strategic performance measurement, KPIs, and reporting systems.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure cross-functional alignment between strategic goals and operational activities.
  • Executive Leadership Support: Provide expert strategic counsel to executive leadership and contribute to high-level decision-making.
  • Team Environment: Promote a collaborative, high-performing, emotionally intelligent work environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the center in strategic engagements with stakeholders, national entities, and partners.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in strategy, planning, or executive advisory roles.
  • Change Management: Strong change management experience and ability to lead transformation initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is required.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is essential.
  • Data Analytics: Familiarity with data analytics or business intelligence software is an advantage.
