We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Data Governance Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving discussions on the application and deployment of data policies and processes, and their continued enforcement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Analytics Solution Consulting:** Engage with business functions to translate business problems into analytical problems based on data. Assess the current analytics maturity and create a transformation roadmap.
  • **Data Governance Framework:** Advise on the development and implementation of a data governance framework, ensuring clear accountability and adherence to guidelines related to data governance and quality.
  • **Data Governance Organization Design:** Provide advisory support for the design of a data governance organization, including the creation of a charter and operating model.
  • **Data Lifecycle Management:** Drive the development and maintenance of an end-to-end data lifecycle management approach, including the management of data, operating model, data policies, and standards.
  • **Data Governance Program:** Manage a data governance program, including the application of clearly defined data management definitions across the Data Office.
  • **Data Policies and Standards:** Define and maintain data policies, data sharing agreements, and data security standards, ensuring adherence to standards, policies, and processes regarding data quality management.

**Qualifications:**

  • Consistent track record in designing comprehensive next-generation information and data strategies, including benchmarking, multi-year technology evolution roadmaps, and data governance.
  • Experience in managing enterprise data assets in a large, complex organization.
  • Experience in executing a rigorous enterprise-wide data governance process.
  • Ability to partner with colleagues across multiple disciplines to define and develop scenarios for improvement of data governance and quality programs.
  • Experience in developing data management/governance artifacts that are detailed, actionable, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Understanding of Master Data Management technology landscape, processes, and design principles.
  • Operational familiarity with metadata management, data quality, and data stewardship methodologies and tools.
  • Experience in using data catalogues and data quality technologies.
  • Hands-on operational management and change management.
  • Proven track record in operating large data governance programs.
