About the Role:The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating customer operations plans and processes to deliver efficient logistics solutions and results in the supply chain of specific clients using multimodal means of transportation. You will provide support to the sales team, advise and mentor team members on day-to-day tasks and activities, and meet work schedules and targets.
You will also support the implementation of customer operations plans to process complex customer orders and flow of goods and information across a customer's global supply chain, and provide resolution for order/delivery issues. Additionally, you will track performance, participate in customer reviews and analysis of performance indicators to identify areas of improvement for enhancing overall service quality.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate customer operations plans and processes to deliver efficient logistics solutions and results.
- Support the sales team and provide guidance on day-to-day tasks and activities.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
- Implement customer operations plans to process complex customer orders and flow of goods and information.
- Resolve order/delivery issues and track performance metrics.
- Participate in customer reviews and analysis of performance indicators to identify areas of improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
