About the Job

As a Senior Road Engineer at WSP, you will lead and oversee the successful delivery of road infrastructure projects, leveraging your technical expertise and project management skills to drive excellence and innovation. Key responsibilities include project planning and design, construction supervision and quality assurance, traffic management and safety, stakeholder engagement and communication, and project management and delivery.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of road infrastructure projects, from planning and design to construction and completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in road engineering, with a focus on site supervision within the construction consultancy sector.
  • Professional engineering license or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in road design, construction, and maintenance, with a deep understanding of relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and road engineering analysis tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, manage project budgets and schedules, and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering road infrastructure projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and innovation.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
