Job Summary

The Projects Director is responsible for overseeing the direct operations of a project located in Makkah, including developing, implementing and managing contracts to achieve set service level agreements, client relationships and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To plan and coordinate all activities related to the operation and maintenance of all project buildings and facilities, encompassing various systems and scope of work.
  2. To ensure that work quality meets established standards and objectives.
  3. To maintain high staff productivity and efficiency within a professional and safe environment.
  4. To monitor financial performance and overall cost control.
  5. To direct, supervise and monitor project teams and subcontractors/suppliers' performances.
  6. To arrange technical and administrative training for staff and labor.
  7. To personally pursue and support projects in achieving key performance indicators.
  8. To be accountable for business unit overall performance (financial and non-financial).
  9. To execute strategies approved by the FM Director.
  10. To manage the Hajj season in the project.
  11. To maintain good customer and business partner relations, resolving contractual issues at higher management levels when necessary.
  12. To develop and implement operational policies and procedures supporting FM stated strategies and objectives.
  13. To input on and resolve difficult technical issues.
  14. To ensure maximum coordination with other projects for resource optimization.
  15. To ensure maximum coordination with centralized functions.
  16. To provide required supervision to ensure a well-functioning project.
  17. To work as a constructive team member reporting to the Operations manager.
  18. To ensure effective correspondence and communication with clients.
  19. To identify and track key performance indicators for projects, devising plans and initiatives for operational/cost improvements.
  20. To maximize revenue by securing additional works/scopes/areas to increase profitability.
