Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to oversee our organizational training strategy, focusing on developing the skills and knowledge of our operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training coordination and development, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Main Responsibilities

Training Planning and Coordination:

  1. Develop and implement training schedules and calendars, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Collaborate with trainers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality training programs.
  3. Coordinate with HR to ensure effective onboarding and training processes for new joiners.
  4. Responsible for updating training materials, resources, and documentation to maintain accuracy and relevance.

Participant Management:

  1. Ensure new joiners receive comprehensive training and support to meet their needs and achieve desired outcomes.
  2. Coordinate with trainers to develop and administer quizzes, surveys, and other assessments to measure participant understanding and progress.
  3. Attend training-related meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive training initiatives forward.
  4. Responsible for conducting regular knowledge assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Conduct or assist in train-the-trainer sessions to enhance trainer skills and confidence.

Administrative Tasks:

  1. Design and prepare training tools, including curricula, SOPs, presentations, and other materials.
  2. Ensure training resources, such as session slides, quizzes, and surveys, are accurate and up-to-date.
  3. Prepare training-related documentation, including training agendas, handouts, and certificates.
  4. Handle post-training tasks, such as compiling feedback from participants and trainers.
  5. Responsible for maintaining accurate records and updates of participant training progress.

Communication:

  1. Collaborate with the Training Manager and stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Communicate effectively with trainers, trainees, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth training delivery and administration.
  3. Coordinate with HR to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  4. Serve as a liaison between trainers, trainees, and stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.

Evaluation and Reporting:

  1. Assist in identifying training needs and gaps within operations.
  2. Collect feedback from trainees and trainers to evaluate training effectiveness and impact.
  3. Analyze training data to prepare reports on key metrics, such as participant satisfaction, learning outcomes, and training impact.
  4. Make recommendations for improvements based on evaluation results.

Monitoring and Tracking:

  1. Monitor and update training progress to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
  2. Assist in developing and implementing training visuals, such as PowerPoint presentations.
  3. Regularly review and update operational-related SOPs to ensure compliance and best practices.
  4. Responsible for maintaining control and organization of all training passports.
  5. Record completed training sessions by stamping and stickering each team member's training passport.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in training coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong background in the food / bulk cooking industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Result-oriented, driven, and flexible with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms, as well as training apps and platforms.
