As a Vehicle Exterior Designer at Polaris, you'll be part of a collaborative team working on cutting-edge concept and production designs for the next generation of extreme powersports vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create visually stunning exterior designs for multiple Polaris vehicles, leveraging your skills in research, visual concept exploration, and 3D execution.
  2. Develop and refine design ideas, providing feedback and guidance to team members to ensure seamless collaboration.
  3. Communicate effectively with peers and management, presenting design concepts and leading peer reviews.
  4. Leverage your expertise in design-for-manufacturing practices, ensuring efficient production processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design (Automotive Design, Transportation Design, Industrial Design) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in design-related fields, preferably automotive, transportation, or powersports.
  • Strong understanding of plastics and casting tools, with the ability to adjust designs to manufacturing criteria.
  • Excellent drawing skills and proficiency in electronic communication tools.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, mentoring others when necessary.
