Job Description:

We're seeking an exceptional Principal Cloud/DevOps Engineer to spearhead the development and implementation of our cloud infrastructure strategy. This highly technical role requires expertise in managing public cloud environments, automating infrastructure provisioning, and designing CI/CD pipelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimize and manage our cloud environment for maximum performance, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies for cloud infrastructure and data-intensive applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications and machine learning model performance.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless software and data-driven workflow integration.
  • Regularly audit and adapt security measures to meet evolving data-centric infrastructure demands.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience in Platform/DevOps Engineering, focusing on cloud-based data processing and deployment strategies.
  3. Expertise in public cloud environments (AWS preferred), including data services and ML model deployment tools.
  4. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) skills using Terraform, and data processing task automation.
  5. CI/CD tool proficiency (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline), and data-centric workflow integration.
  6. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana), configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible), and data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
  7. Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, SQL, cloud security, scripting for automation (Python, Bash), load balancing technologies, and CDN expertise.
  8. Agile methodology experience, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  2. Scalable data processing and machine learning model deployment experience (batch and real-time).
  3. ML system development and maintenance expertise with MLflow, BentoML, and Evidently AI.
  4. Advanced modeling framework exposure (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  5. Data governance and compliance familiarity.
  6. Kubernetes Administration or Developer Certification (CKA/CKAD).
  7. Diverse cloud compute and data processing tool stack exposure.
