Job Overview

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing installation of liner hanger systems in the field and repairs and routine servicing of remedial service of rental equipment in the shop, when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install liner hanger systems in the field and perform repairs and routine servicing of rental equipment in the shop, when required.
  2. Lead field teams in maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices.
  3. Continuously improve Health, Safety, Security & Protection of the Environment, considering responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations.
  4. Familiarize yourself with the Company's Quality policies and take an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all policies & procedures, related operational & non-operational documentation, supports systems, complies with all Technical Work Instructions and Test Procedures, carrying out work.
  6. Maintain service quality as an immediate priority when working across all areas of the business and continually seek areas for improvement.
  7. Participate in all daily operations & safety meetings, toolbox, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and report any issues promptly using the appropriate tools.
  8. Maintain equipment, facilities, and work area in presentable and safe working conditions.
  9. Monitor and analyze data to recommend services and solutions.
  10. Perform job planning, preparation of tools & equipment, mobilization, job execution and submit all job-related data, not limited to job reports, WPTS data entry, observation cards while on-site, service tickets or logs with the required signatory, and any other documents required to successfully invoice the client within an acceptable time.
  11. Test, operate & maintain tools & equipment as per work instructions, according to policies & procedures in safe and presentable working conditions against their level of training & competence.
  12. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with clients to ensure repeat business.
  13. Be fully responsible for delivering superior Service Quality to the client.
  14. Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at the well site.
  15. Follow up failures with the R&M team and ensure failure reports are closed with clients.
  16. Contribute, participate, or lead equipment failure investigations that support Root Cause Analysis reports.
  17. Intermediate and Senior level roles will perform engineering checks while on client location, including hand calculations and updates of software computations based on the latest data.
  18. Senior level Field Specialist will manage the installation of complex equipment and/or services in the field.
  19. Perform other duties and activities safely as assigned by the supervisor within physical constraints of the job.
  20. Must be proficient in calculating basic oil industry volumes, pressures, and forces.
  21. Have a keen understanding of different facets of field operations including but not limited to cemented liners, off-bottom cemented liners, non-cemented liners and pressure balanced liners operations.
  22. Able to work effectively on pulling units as well as drilling rigs.
  23. Perform maintenance & repairs on company owned rental equipment in the field as needed.
  24. Provide accurate & thorough liner systems job reports on a timely basis.
  25. Assist in the shop and make deliveries when requested.
  26. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years related experience in Liner Hanger Field.
  2. High school diploma as minimum and preferred Engineering Degree.
  3. General product knowledge.
  4. Mechanical ability necessary to perform repairs.
  5. Valid Driver license.
  6. Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills.
  7. Self-motivator, self-starter.
  8. Good oral and written communication skills.
  9. Must be able to follow instructions.
  10. Able to work closely with fellow employees.
