Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and facilitating continuous improvement in all aspects of our site's HSE management systems and standards. Your expertise will ensure seamless alignment with our group's systems and policies, guaranteeing a safe working environment for all employees.

  1. Maintain high-level knowledge and expertise in Health, Safety, and Environment matters to provide timely advice and support.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in HSE management systems and standards.
  3. Provide comprehensive guidance on legislative and Corporate compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to national codes of practice.
  4. Investigate and review significant accidents, incidents, complaints, and pollution events, identifying solutions to prevent recurrence.
  5. Support Crisis Incident Management processes by conducting risk assessments and reporting findings to the site's Green Team.
  6. Participate actively in the site HSE committee, driving discussions and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE agendas for the site, addressing issues and determining requirements for improvements.
  • Approve SOPs related to HSE as required.
  • Design and deliver site-specific HSE training programs.
  • Audit, monitor, and review the implementation of Health and Safety policies, working practices, and safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities and insurers on matters such as fire risk assessment and certification, emergency planning, and safety improvement plans.
