About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vendor Manager to join our team at Afaq Q Tech General Trading (Amazon). As a key member of our Health & Personal Care team, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring the success of our procurement operations.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Act as the business owner for assigned categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your business. This includes owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding, and reporting on the business, as well as responsibility for driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.
  2. Profit Maximization: Maximize Amazon's business profitability and selection expansion opportunities.
  3. Vendor Relationship Management: Manage vendor relationships, including supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day relationships, and negotiations to secure marketing funds.
  4. Business Planning: Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.
  5. Team Collaboration: Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines.
  6. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.

Requirements
  1. 3+ years of experience with Excel.
  2. 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results.
  3. Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
  4. Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements.
  2. Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
