About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Battery Energy Systems Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Operations department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the commercial aspects of our BESS projects, working closely with our Technical Services team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk & Opportunity Analysis: Identify and analyze risks and opportunities associated with our BESS projects, working closely with our Technical Services team to ensure accurate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Contract Management: Review and amend project documents, including PPAs, land lease agreements, interconnection agreements, EPC terms sheets, and O&M contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Bid Process Support: Assist in preparing bid assumptions books, appointing advisors, approaching subcontractors and suppliers, and reviewing performances and guarantees sections.
  • Project Closing Process Support: Provide assistance with clarifications with customers, project close-out information, and LTA reports, as well as assist in transferring projects to asset and portfolio management.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree a plus.
  • Experience: 8-11 years of experience in project development and contract negotiation for large EPC companies in the BESS sector.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of techno-commercial aspects of BESS, expertise in optimization and system simulation, and extensive industry exposure.
