Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join its finance team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our accounts payable department, ensuring accurate and timely payments, and leading a team of accounts payable specialists.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, best practices, and Saudi Arabian accounting regulations. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
In this challenging role, you will analyze supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently, implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, and prepare and review payment runs, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and verified. You will also monitor check issuance and maintain proper safeguards for unused checks, collaborate with other departments to streamline accounts payable processes, and generate and analyze comprehensive accounts payable reports for management review.
