Job Summary

This role requires a highly experienced Wet Utilities manager to drive the design, review, and development of various projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration skills to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design process for major wet utilities and hydrology, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative design solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients, consultants, contractors, and team members through regular design review meetings.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying and resolving design-related challenges and reporting on progress.
  • Manage project documentation, including design records, change orders, and approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design elements and achieve seamless project progression.
  • Present reports, visual presentations, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Engineering master's degree desirable.
  • Chartered Civil Engineer registration necessary (or similar).
  • Minimum 10-years experience in designing, reviewing, documenting, and managing wet utilities, hydrology, and hydraulic networks.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, analysis, and best practices for hydrology, stormwater, sewerage, potable water, and irrigation systems.
  • Design experience in District Cooling systems advantageous.
  • Design experience in Dry utilities advantageous.
  • Construction oversight experience in the mentioned infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
