About the Nucleus Unit:The nucleus unit plays a critical role in the success of our client's livestock operation. It is essential that we find a highly skilled individual to manage this unit and drive growth through innovation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement genetic improvement programs that meet the client's goals and objectives.
- Manage the nucleus unit's operational activities, including staff management and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale livestock operations with a focus on genetic improvement programs.
- Bachelor's degree in animal science, agriculture, or related field.
- Proven experience with sheep breeding, genetic selection, and advanced reproductive technologies.
