We are seeking a highly skilled Testing and Commissioning Site Coordinator/Commissioning Engineering Specialist to join our team at Atkins. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling substation testing and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute substation testing and commissioning activities in accordance with project schedules and client requirements.
- Collaborate with external commissioning subcontractors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of testing and commissioning activities.
- Develop and review project documentation, including testing and commissioning plans, procedures, and reports.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that testing and commissioning activities are completed within budget.
- Provide regular project updates to clients and stakeholders, ensuring that project progress is communicated effectively.
- Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure that project objectives are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in testing and commissioning site coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience in developing project requirements and project plans within the construction industry.
- Knowledge of protection, GIS, and SW gear design, with the ability to check and comment on testing and commissioning documentation.
- Ability to resolve disputes and communicate decisions to clients, subcontractors, and management personnel.
