Job Description:

The High Performance Nutrition Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive nutrition strategies to enhance athlete performance, recovery, and overall health.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individualized nutritional assessments for athletes to identify specific needs and develop customized meal plans based on age, position, training load, and health status.
  • Design and implement game-day nutrition strategies to optimize performance, including pre- and post-match meals and hydration plans.
  • Educate athletes on proper hydration, supplementation, and recovery nutrition through workshops and individual guidance.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Sports Science.
  • Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN, ISSN, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sports nutrition, preferably with professional football teams.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective nutrition programs for elite athletes.
  • Strong understanding of sports physiology and metabolism, as well as excellent communication skills to educate and motivate athletes.
  • Knowledge of hydration, supplementation, and recovery nutrition.
  • English required (advanced).
  • Arabic language desired (working knowledge).
