Key Responsibilities:- Optimize procurement procedures to achieve set goals.
- Ensure complete purchase requisitions and approve purchase orders according to authority matrix.
- Qualify bidders, create tender documents, and evaluate tenders to ensure they align with government policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with departments to determine current and future equipment, services, and materials needs.
- Analyse quotations based on price, specifications, delivery, and other relevant factors.
- Streamline the purchasing process, including purchase requisitions and orders.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best offers within time constraints.
- Research suppliers that meet the company's objectives.
- Conduct data analysis to inform business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Procurement or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Proficiency in preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and selecting suppliers based on compliance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Awareness of supplier contracts and negotiation strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detailed-oriented with expertise in budget management, strategic planning, and relationship management.
- Honest, helpful, focused, flexible, and proactive with a problem-solving attitude.
