Job Role

The Oncology Pharmacist will be responsible for evaluating medical orders and prescriptions for appropriateness in therapy.

Main Accountabilities

  1. Evaluate medical orders and prescriptions for appropriateness in therapy.
  2. Manage medications including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
  3. Counsel patients and caregivers on potential side effects and interactions.
  4. Develop and manage individualized patient medication plans.
  5. Provide medication information and clinical recommendations to healthcare team members.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in oncology medication preparation and dispensing.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must:

  1. Hold a graduate degree from a Faculty of Pharmacy.
  2. Possess a recognized certificate from the Saudi Commission.
  3. Have dataflow recognition.

Experience and Skills

A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar position and registration with the Saudi Board Council are required.

Language Requirements

English and Arabic proficiency is a must.
