Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Prepare Procurement Packages: Create comprehensive procurement packages for electrical systems and components, ensuring all technical specifications and requirements are accurately included.
  2. Collaborate with the Procurement Team: Work closely with the procurement team to ensure that technical specifications and requirements are accurately included in the packages.
  3. Provide Input on Vendor Selection: Offer input on vendor selection and procurement processes to ensure alignment with project needs.
  4. Review Electrical Designs: Review electrical designs received from consultants to ensure they meet project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  5. Assess Design Submissions: Assess the feasibility, accuracy, and completeness of design submissions.
  6. Provide Feedback and Recommendations: Provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements or modifications as necessary.
  7. Review Shop Drawings: Review shop drawings submitted by subcontractors to ensure compliance with project design criteria and specifications.
  8. Verify Electrical Layouts: Verify the accuracy of electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and equipment details.
  9. Coordinate with Subcontractors: Coordinate with subcontractors to address any discrepancies or required revisions in the shop drawings.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on design, procurement, and project execution.
  3. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in preparing procurement packages and reviewing design and shop drawings. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices. Proficiency in electrical design software and tools. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
