Job Summary

The Senior Mechanical Engineer - Project Lead will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical engineering projects from start to finish. This includes working closely with clients, architects, and other engineers to design and implement mechanical systems that meet project requirements and conform to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical engineering projects.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  3. Client Management: Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  4. Design and Development: Work with architects and engineers to design and implement mechanical systems that meet project requirements.
  5. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mechanical engineering projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  1. Education: Hold at least a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  2. Experience: Minimum of 15 to 20 years experience in major infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Drainage with emphasis on maintenance facilities as part of a supervision or design team.
  3. Design-Build Experience: Should have completed at least one design-build transit project within the last 10 years.
  4. Professional Registration: Hold a professional registration in engineering.
  5. International Experience: Have work experience in Saudi Arabia or another GCC country.
