As an IT Assistant Manager at Ihgarmyhotels Riyadh, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's IT infrastructure. Here are some key responsibilities:

  1. System Maintenance and Monitoring: Oversee daily system operation, including servers, networks, and software applications. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  2. User Support and Training: Provide technical support to staff and guests addressing any IT-related issues. Conduct training sessions for staff on new software and IT procedures.
  3. Network Management: Manage network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for staff and guests. Implement network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  4. Software and Hardware Management: Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed. Ensure all IT equipment functions properly and coordinate repairs or replacements when necessary.
  5. Data Management and Security: Oversee data backup processes to ensure data integrity and availability. Implement and maintain data security protocols to protect sensitive information.
  6. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors for IT services and equipment. Manage contracts and service agreements to ensure quality IT support.
  7. Project Management: Assist in planning and executing IT projects, such as system upgrades or new technology implementations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure IT projects align with the hotel's overall goals.
  8. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT activities, including system performance, incidents, and maintenance tasks. Prepare reports for senior management on IT operations and project progress.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
  • Two to three years' prior experience in a similar role.
  • International luxury hotel chain background.
  • GCC exposure.
  • English Fluency is required.
  • Arabic Fluency is preferred.
