About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. As a Senior HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our HVAC and chiller systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. System Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on HVAC and chiller systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  2. Component Inspection and Repair: Inspect and lubricate moving parts, clean components, and replace worn-out or damaged parts.
  3. Record Keeping: Keep detailed maintenance records and create maintenance schedules.
  4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions or performance issues in HVAC and chiller systems.
  5. Repair and Replacement: Carry out repairs, replacements, or adjustments to restore system functionality.
  6. Emergency Response: Address emergency repair calls promptly and efficiently.
  7. Energy Efficiency: Analyze HVAC and chiller systems to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
  8. System Upgrades: Recommend and implement system upgrades or modifications to reduce energy consumption.
  9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that systems comply with energy efficiency standards and regulations.
  10. Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants safely and in accordance with EPA regulations.
  11. Documentation: Prepare detailed service reports, work orders, and equipment documentation.
  12. Communication: Communicate maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions to supervisors and clients.
  13. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts and necessary supplies.
  14. Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  15. Industry Knowledge: Keep up-to-date with industry regulations, safety codes, and best practices.
  16. Certifications: Participate in safety training and maintain required certifications.
  17. Client Interaction: Interact with clients, building occupants, or facility managers in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  18. Advice and Recommendations: Provide advice and recommendations for HVAC and chiller system maintenance and performance improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-10 years' experience in maintenance in HVAC and chillers systems
  • Excellent Arabic and English writing skills
  • Mechanical Engineering degree
