Anesthesia Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at Security Forces Hospital Program Dammam. As an Anesthesia Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

1. Equipment Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for use in the operating room.
2. Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative recovery.
3. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including code blue events, and provide critical care to patients as needed.
4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room operations.
5. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
6. Education and Training: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in anesthesia technology and techniques, and participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance professional development.
7. Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and preferences.
8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including anesthesia administration, patient monitoring, and any complications or adverse events.

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nursing or healthcare administration.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an anesthesia or healthcare setting, with a strong background in patient care and equipment management.
3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of anesthesia equipment, pharmacological agents, and medical terminology.
4. Certifications: Current certification in anesthesia technology or a related field, such as Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
