About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead our consultancy services on a large luxury mixed-use development in the Umluj area of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
  • Be the relationship owner and primary contact for Mace executive team engagement, and responsible for ensuring efficient governance to achieve our strategic priorities.
  • Manage key client relationship and convert the client's vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
  • Responsible for site works meeting the project delivery programme, creating long/mid/short term plans with planning colleagues.
  • Lead and establish promotion of health, safety and wellbeing plan and culture onsite, both internally and externally.
  • Provide expert technical advice and leadership support to delivery team, creating culture of ownership, promoting roles and responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationship with client/s.
  • Partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders, working in collaboration to implement strategy and programmes.
  • Deliver continuous improvements in processes through application of best practices and lessons learned.
  • Drive transformational change.
  • Manage, influence & negotiate with key senior stakeholders on matters of strategic importance.
  • Conversion of the client's vision into a deliverable plan that includes and exploits the full benefits of construction to production (C2P), net zero carbon, and digital & data innovation.
  • Responsible for improving performance from bid baseline through optimisation of resources, monitors, reviews and evaluates activities, systems and methodologies.
  • Relationship owner and primary contact for executive team engagement. Responsible for ensuring efficient governance to support project activities, gains organisational support and commitment, ensures the achievement of strategic priorities.
  • Create and nurture a high-performing and inclusive team environment that encourages contribution and recognition.
  • Engender, promote and influence quality and service excellence in all conversations and project interactions.
  • Ensure operations are fiscally and ethically viable, influencing the achievement of business objectives and meeting organisational and legislative compliance obligations.
  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
Requirements
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (or equivalent).
