Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Asterix Communications. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for conducting testing and evaluations of paint/coating products, as well as exploring ways to improve processes and products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct testing and evaluations of paint/coating products, including performance evaluations and raw material selections.
  2. Develop and implement new testing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
  4. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of testing results and procedures.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in paint/coating technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a B.S. degree in a science-related field (chemistry, chemical engineering, coatings, or closely related field).
  • Ability to work in an industrial laboratory setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and scientific equipment.
  • Ability to accurately record and communicate research results to others.
