Job Title: Architect (Saudi National)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architect (Saudi National) to join our team at Parsons Oman. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of architectural assignments, including conducting studies, developing design concepts, and preparing related reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct architectural studies and develop design concepts and design criteria.
  2. Prepare CAD drawings, BIM models, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards.
  3. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  4. Write construction specifications and prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
  5. Coordinate work with engineering and construction units at project sites.
  6. Review, approve, and issue detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
  7. Provide the seal and signature of a professional architect when required by statute or contract.
  8. Develop design solutions proficiently and prepare high-quality presentation drawings.
  9. Rendition based on understanding of local and international regulation and Building Code.
  10. Prepare technical packages from concept design, through Design development, Final Design to Tender and Contract documentation.
  11. Produce and manage Production Information, working designs, and high-quality presentation drawings.
  12. Attend site to assist with supervision of installation of the contract works.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in architecture from a recognized university.
  2. 2+ years of related experience in sketching, rendering, model-building, and presentation drawing.
  3. Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering (3DMAX, VRAY, BIM modeling).
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Registered with Saudi Council of Engineers.
  2. Excellent organizational skills.
  3. A collegiate, team-player attitude.
