About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Consultant to join our team at Control Risks. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert advice to clients on built environment security and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for built environment security and risk management, including opportunity origination, conversion, and delivery of real estate and infrastructure risk consulting projects.
  • Client Liaison: Provide trusted advice to clients across the full breadth of capabilities, developing client relationships and ensuring effective communication.
  • Thought Leadership: Act as a thought leader and mentor to junior personnel, driving innovation and best practices in built environment security and risk consulting.
  • Project Management: Operate as a senior-level project manager, implementing policy, driving quality, and growing the business.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and manage operational plans, ensuring compliance with Control Risks policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Performance Management: Collaborate with regional teams to manage performance, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Contribute to business development initiatives, creating proposals and building project budgets to define scope and determine pricing.
  • Quality Oversight: Maintain overall quality oversight of operational and written work, ensuring adherence to Control Risks standards and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of real estate and critical infrastructure security through the entire value chain and project lifecycle.
  • Experience: Proven experience of delivering consultancy-based engagements, people management, budgeting, project management, and project closure.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in risk management or related security, crisis, and/or business continuity fields.
  • Skills: Excellent writing and presentation skills, ability to liaise with clients, and build successful relationships.
