Building Design and Construction Expert

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead structural / infrastructure works including different building construction types, building design, equipment foundation design, pipe and cable tray support design.
  • Develop new and revise existing engineering deliverables.
  • Verify engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists.
  • Supervise engineering work being produced by juniors.
  • Conduct and receive trainings related to job as required.
  • Plan and complete work within allocated man-hours effectively and plan work to avoid slippage.
  • Interface, coordinate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and other team members.

Requirements

Able to perform independently capacity and adequacy calculations, foundation, column, grade slab / beam layouts, section and schedules, bar bending schedule, lift station design, road crossings, dike, culvert and railing design including proper paint and coating selection. Prepare scope for Geotech and topographic surveys as required.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience.
  • MS Office proficient.
  • SmartPlant 3D knowledge.
  • Navisworks / SmartPlant review skills.
  • STAAD Pro expertise.
  • STAAD Foundation knowledge.
  • Revit proficiency.
