We are looking for a highly skilled Rotorcraft Safety Specialist to join our team. As an Aviation Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our personnel and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate safety and environmental programs
  • Facilitate the identification of safety and environmental risks
  • Promote the reduction or elimination of potential accidents, occupational injuries, illnesses, deaths, and safety-related financial losses
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) or equivalent. Alternatively, you must have five (5) + years of relevant aviation safety experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

You must also possess Branch 15 US Army Aviation MOS series and have three (3) years of Army Safety experience in rotorcraft maintenance, UH-60M, AH-64E, with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in Army Aviation Safety Management.

In addition, you must have expert knowledge in the technical field of Aviation Safety and accident prevention, as well as experience in the use of DOD, FAA, NTSB, or ICAO documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior US Military Aviator experience is preferred, with a minimum of 1,500 hours (PIC) of flight time. Completion of the US Army (ASOC) training at Ft. Rucker (Novosel) is also required.

You should be familiar with OSHA, EPA, FAA, NTSB, and other appropriate Federal, State, and Local regulations. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills, as well as planning/organizational skills.
