Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide sub-specialized services for the diagnosis and management of diseases under the scope of care of the related sub-specialty.
  • Perform professional duties of a sub-specialist in accordance with the delineation of the scope of care and privileges as recommended by the Chief of department and approved by the Credentialing Committee.
  • Provide needed care to patients in the wards and outpatient clinic according to CPP of KFMC OPD.
  • Perform needed procedures according to privileging and provide consultation services to in and out patient services in area of expertise.
  • Share in on-call duties as per duty schedule according to KFMC CPP and supervise work of assistant and/or associate consultants.
  • Assure performing medical documentation and charting in an eligible and professional way and supervise documentation of rest of the team.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Work as a member of the team and share administrative responsibilities.
  • Undertake administrative duties whenever needed associated with care of patients under direction of division head.
  • Provide patient and family education according to patient's status and needs.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of 3 or more years in a specialty residency training program recognized by SCHS and acceptable to KFMC.
  • Certification by the appropriate subspecialty, if one exists in the certifying country.
  • Training and post certification experience equal to or greater than six (6) years in a health care facility recognized by KFMC.
  • Independent practice in the Specialty.

Knowledge in International standards of Medical Care.
