Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs, protocols, and standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards associated with automated systems.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with new protocols/standards and safety management systems, and ensure the company's practices comply with these changes.
  • Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Investigate and record incidents to determine the root causes, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide Training and Support: Conduct HSE training, toolbox meetings, and ensure drills are implemented as part of the company's HSE program.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate safety concerns, observations, and findings to management and relevant airport management within capabilities and internal alignment.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a safety officer or within a related field, with a strong understanding of legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in safety management, engineering, or a relevant field, and a certificate in occupational health and safety is preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present and explain health and safety policies or topics.
