About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware Architect to join our team. As a Middleware Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Java-based middleware infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Java EE architecture for our enterprise applications
  • Administer JBoss 5.x and 6.x, including configuration and troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain JBoss Standard and Custom Configurations
  • Implement JMX and JBoss JMX Microkernel, JMX MBean Server, and JBoss AS services
  • Deploy and redeploy archives, manage deployment dependencies and ordering, and configure JBoss Class loading
  • Configure Web Container, JNDI, and Data sources, as well as HTTP, HTTPS, and AJP Connectors
  • Implement JMS - Java Message Service, EJB, and JMX Invoker Adapter
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and environment problems vs. JBoss or J2EE application problems
  • Patch JBoss and JAVA JDK/SDK Products on various platforms
  • Implement Java EE Security, including Authentication, Authorization, Identity, Security Roles, and Web App Security Constraints
  • Implement LDAP login modules, Enabling SSL, and Securing JBoss AS Services
  • Tune JBoss AS and the Java Virtual Machine, including Heap Memory, Garbage Collection, and JBoss AS optimization
  • Implement JBoss AS Clustering and JGroups, Cluster Configuration and Partitions, Clustered Naming, EJB, and HTTP
  • Troubleshoot JBoss AS issues and Multicast issues
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX (RHEL and AIX)
  • Ability to provide guidance to peers and management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience as a JBoss/Java Middleware Architect in an enterprise environment
