Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking, stocking, and reporting. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies or defects.
  • Receiving and Dispatching Goods: Handle the receiving of goods, including inspection, documentation, and storage. Ensure efficient dispatching of goods as per the schedule, minimizing delays and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring that all products meet the required standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety checks and contribute to safety training sessions to ensure a culture of safety within the team.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and reducing waste. Propose and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, providing guidance and assistance where needed. Collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Equipment and Maintenance: Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Reporting: Generate and maintain reports related to inventory, receiving, dispatching, and any operational issues, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in distribution center operations, preferably with strong receiving and distribution experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and warehouse management systems.
