Pricing Analyst Role

This role involves analyzing market data, competitor pricing, customer behavior, and internal costs to develop and implement pricing models that maximize revenue and profitability.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pricing analysis and revenue management, with experience in developing and implementing dynamic pricing models.

Responsibilities:
  1. Pricing Model Development: Develop and implement dynamic pricing models to optimize revenue and profitability.
  2. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing strategies.
  3. Analyze the impact of pricing changes on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Data Insights:
  1. Collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems and customer databases.
  2. Develop and maintain pricing dashboards and reports to track key metrics.
  3. Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate pricing model effectiveness.
Customer Focus:
  1. Collaborate with the UX team to segment customers based on their value and price sensitivity.
  2. Develop targeted pricing strategies for different customer segments.
Teamwork:
  1. Closely collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams.
  2. Communicate pricing strategies and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
Continuous Learning:
  1. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  2. Participate in knowledge sharing and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or a related field.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
