Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join our team at Cognizant. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in MariaDB, BPMN Modeling, Appian RPA, Appian AI, Appian Solution Development, and J2EE. Additionally, experience in Finance & Accounting and Devices / SPM domains is essential. This role will involve developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our business processes and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement High-Quality Software Solutions
    • Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using MariaDB, BPMN Modeling, Appian RPA, Appian AI, Appian Solution Development, and J2EE.
  • Oversee the Entire Software Development Lifecycle
    • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
  • Provide Technical Guidance and Support
    • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Lead the Design and Development of Complex Applications
    • Lead the design and development of complex applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Conduct Code Reviews and Provide Constructive Feedback
    • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Implement Automated Testing Frameworks
    • Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and robustness of software solutions.
  • Monitor and Optimize Application Performance
    • Monitor and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Stay Updated with the Latest Industry Trends and Technologies
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
  • Develop and Maintain Comprehensive Documentation
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer and ease of maintenance.
  • Provide Technical Support and Troubleshooting Assistance
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to Identify Opportunities for Process Improvement
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using Appian RPA and AI.
  • Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards and Regulations
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in the Finance & Accounting and Devices / SPM domains.

Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a Related Field
