Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operator, AAS to join our team at AL ITTEFAQ STEEL PRODUCTS CO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fuel Management: To fill DRI, Ferro Alloys, and DRI silos as and when required in shifts, ensuring optimal fuel levels and minimizing downtime.
- Inventory Management: To check the availability of different production consumables in the shop floor, maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies to the relevant authorities.
- Material Handling: To fill the required materials in respective silos by operating the conveyors system, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring efficient material flow.
- Housekeeping: To maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and promoting a safe working environment.
- Equipment Monitoring: To monitor equipment health in shifts, identifying and reporting any abnormalities to the maintenance crew, and ensuring prompt resolution to minimize downtime.
- Safety Protocols: To follow safe working practices, adhering to company policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Coordination: To coordinate with DRI control room for DRI transfer, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations.
- Team Collaboration: To coordinate with shift production crew, providing support and guidance as needed, and promoting a collaborative working environment.
- Reporting: To report to the Superintendent (AAS & DRI) regarding any abnormalities, providing timely and accurate information to inform decision-making.
- Additional Responsibilities: To perform any other job as instructed by the Shift Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
