Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Care to join our team at Antal International Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychological, social, and medical histories.
  2. Evaluate mental status through interviews and standardized assessment tools.
  3. Collaborate with patients and multi-disciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
  4. Set measurable, achievable goals and regularly review and update care plans.
  5. Provide individual and group therapy sessions based on evidence-based practices.
  6. Utilize therapeutic communication techniques to build rapport and trust with patients.
  7. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness.
  8. Educate patients and families about medications, their purposes, and potential side effects.
  9. Respond to psychiatric emergencies, providing immediate care and stabilization.
  10. Implement de-escalation techniques and safety protocols to manage high-risk situations.

  12. Facilitate psychoeducational groups to enhance understanding of mental health issues.

  15. Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  16. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases and coordinate care efforts.
  17. Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.
  18. Support patients in accessing community resources and services.
  19. Stay updated on best practices, research, and advancements in mental health nursing.
  20. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
