Dietary Aide Supervisor

The Dietary Aide Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of our food services department, ensuring that patients receive high-quality meals and exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with patients and staff.

Main Duties:

1. Instruct patients on food services hours of operation and address their concerns.
2. Coordinate with patients to set up bedside trays, ensuring all comments are relayed to the supervisor.
3. Manage the delivery of patient and guest meals, including A La Carte Room Service meals and hot beverages.
4. Oversee snack preparation and assembly according to meal tickets in a timely manner.
5. Supervise the collection of soiled trays from patient rooms, ensuring silverware, china, and glasses are returned to the department.
6. Conduct regular ward rounds to collect food service equipment left on wards.
7. Investigate and report patient complaints, acting as liaison for all patient comments and communicating with the diet office.
8. Ensure timely delivery of ready-to-serve formula and in-house prepared formulary to nursing units.
9. Alert the supervisor to any defective equipment needing repair.

Essential Requirements:

• Intermediate school education is mandatory.
• No prior experience is necessary.
• Proficiency in bilingual Arabic/English language skills is required.
• Completion of formal training in food & nutrition is necessary.
